Hello everybody,
As most of you are doubtless aware, February is the month of Kangeiko; Sheffield Aikido's famous challenge of training as much as possible over a period of 1 week. There are nearly 35 hours of training on offer from this Sunday (the 12th) to next Saturday (the 18th). For those who attend all morning sessions and train a total of 24 hours or more, you may even find yourself with a special prize....Of course, this goal is not possible for everybody and there is no obligation to do any extra sessions, but we do encourage you to push yourself as much as you can. It is a fantastic opportunity for aikido improvement due to the amount of training hours available. Check out the attachment for more details including the timetable.

Saturday 18th - Kangeiko Afterparty, Burton Street, Sheffield
Tuesday 21st - Grading
Saturday 25th - National Squad Session, York RI, 12.00-16.00
March
Saturday 4th - Shodohai, Sheffield, 13.30-15.30
Saturday 11th - Shodohai, Leeds, 16.30-18.30
Saturday 18th - Women Only Session
Saturday 25th - Sunday 26th - Student Nationals, Sheffield
Sunday 26th - BAA Championships, Kidbrooke (London)
Please note:
- All events are in the dojo unless otherwise stated and details are subject to change
- The Kangeiko after-party details are yet to be confirmed, although it usually takes place at the Burton Street Foundation, a few hours after the last Kangeiko training session. In most years, people usually bring food they cooked at home beforehand, to the venue (along with drinks). Final details will be confirmed soon
