The Kyogikan dojo was founded in September 1991 by Scott Allbright, so we are celebrating its 20th anniversary!
In addition, we have been trying to raise funds to build a mezzanine floor to relocate the changing areas, extend mat space and buy new mats for a larger floor space. We have been succesful! We have raised £12,000 and the mezzanine floor will be built and new mats installed in September.
Another call for celebration is Scott's promotion to 6th dan he obtained in Geneva earlier this year.
Therefore we will celebrate in style on Saturday 24th September.

We will have demonstrations at 3pm and then a session until 5pm. After the session we will go for dinner.
We will then head for Spa 1877 for a sauna, steam room, ice room, plunge pool, etc. This is booked from 7 to 9.30pm.
If you want to take part in Spa 1877, please let Scott know in advance (<scottallbright@yahoo.co.uk>). There are only 20 places available. There will be a £10 charge and please bring a swimming cozzy. Towels and gowns etc are provided.
After the Spa we will go across the road to the Bath Hotel, where Scott will drink 6 pints of something black to celebrate his 6th dan!
There are going to be a lot of old and new faces turning up and it should be a great event.
