Aikido newsletter - dojo development, student nationals and ...mental kuzushi!

Dear all

the dojo development works have started a week ago and the dojo is unrecognisable! We have knocked down the old toilet and the walls, the builders have erected a mezzanine floor accessed from wooden stairs to the right of the dojo. All this has opened up the dojo and will extend our training area.

Still to come: changing rooms and gallery to be built on the newly-created mezzanine; mini-kitchen area and without forgetting...the new mats!

We anticipate the work to be finished - fingers crossed - by the end of March, ready for the next national squad session. We will have an official dojo opening ceremony, probably in May 2012, more details to come.

In the meantime, bear with us and the lack of changing rooms and toilet!
