aikido - Training this Saturday

Dear all,

I am organising an extra coach training session this Saturday, which will be taught by Scott, but with a lot of input from coaches.

This involves 1. coaches and 2. non coaches.

1. Coaches (and aspiring coaches)
the session will start 11am, finish 4pm, with a lunch break around 1.30-2pm.
We will be focusing on kihon no tsukuri for Atemi waza, how to teach consistently and successfully, looking at the differences between the university and mainstream syllabi. We'll then look at teaching randori from the point of view of atemi waza; we'll finish with how to organise a shodohai.
Cost: £10 (£7.50 for students)

2. Non coaches, ie aikidoka from beginner level onwards.
We need your help! Coaches will do a practical  from 2-4pm, where they will be teaching 15 minute slots, and for this, they will need people to teach! You also get an extra opportunity to train your syllabus.
Cost: free if you've already paid your month / week. Otherwise £3 for students / concessions and £5 for non students.

What to bring:
your dogi
pen and paper
lunch / drinks
your fee

Coaches, please confirm that you are coming. You will not be allowed to teach in the Sheffield dojo unless you attend most of these courses.

See you on Saturday!

Celine
