Happy new year to all from Steel City Aikido Club

Dear Aikidoka from Sheffield and beyond,

Happy new year to you all and good wishes for 2014.

Why not start the new year with lots of training?!!

Whilst the students are away, the sessions are joint and all grades can attend all following sessions:

Monday 6-7.30 pm
Tuesday 6.30-8pm
Wednesday 8-9am (weapons)
Wednesday 5-7pm
Thursday 6-7.30pm
Friday 6-7pm
Saturday 11.30am-1pm

The student timetable will resume on Tuesday 21st January.

Our next kendo session with Colin McCurdy is on Wednesday 5th Feb 8-9am, but you will need to register first (£3).

Our next event will be KANGEIKO, or 24/7 winter challenge, which will start on Sunday 16th February and will finish on Saturday 22nd Feb with our popular international cooking party. Join us for this annual challenge and see if you can complete 24 hours of training over 7 days, including all 5 morning sessions!

This year we will raise funds for our dojo heating system. Anyone who has been training over the past few weeks will know how needed this is, especially as we want to start children classes. At the moment, we'd be sending them home with blue toes...

So the dojo will be grateful for all the help you can muster!
More info will follow!

 Happy new year!
