Dojo Warming Party this Saturday 2-4pm

Dear members and friends of the Steel City Aikido club,

On behalf of the club, I am inviting you all to our "dojo warming party" this Saturday 17th January. We will be celebrating our newly-acquired heating system with aikido demonstrations, aikido training and of course a social!

The theme of the day is...heat! This applies to the seminar as well as to the social, since we will be heading out to Amigos, the mexican restaurant on London Road.

The seminar itself will be £7 for concessions and £10 for normal, and all proceeds will go towards our next dojo funding project (the dojo minibus!).

I hope many of you will be able to join us either in the dojo or afterwards!

I've attached a poster of the event, kindly designed by Maggy.

I will also give you advanced notice of our Kangeiko, or winter training challenge, where we challenge ourselves to train over 24 hours in 7 days (aka 24/7 challenge). We will start on Sunday 15th February and will finish on Saturday 21st February. This year, we are raising fund to purchase a minibus, and this will help more of us to travel to aikido events!

Incidentally, this will be the first Kangeiko where we don't end up with blue toes, thank you beloved heating system!

See you on Saturday 2pm!
