Dear all,
a lot of you have been requesting to see photos from our momentous week of training last week.
I thought I wouldn't clog everyone's email and dropbox accounts, so here's a link to my Kangeiko 2015 photos:
Well done to all who took part, especially the juniors (I am biased of course!)!
I thought I'd also give you a quick heads up about upcoming events:
Sunday 15th March - National SAUK Club competition. This year, this event is actually held in Sheffield (from 10am EIS Sheffield). Basically, all clubs who are part of our organisation Shodokan Aikido UK (SAUK) can enter this club challenge; we enter as one team and the club with most points win the event! There are events for all levels and abilities; I encourage members of the dojo to either come and take part or help run the competition or take photos or cheer for us! Talk to us if you are intrigued, interested or keen to take part!
We will actually have an opportunity to prepare for this competition next weekend: Saturday 7th March (2-4pm, in the dojo). We will go through the various events, learning how aikido competition works, how we determine who is the winner, as well as why we do competitions in the first place!
Speak soon!
