This weekend we have a couple of dojo events:
Club Video Project
We are scheduled to start the club video project this Saturday after the usual 11.30-13.00 session finishes. If some higher grades could turn up to help with this (1st kyus and above), that would be great.
Peak District Walk - Castleton
Key Information
Date - Sunday 19th May
Time - The bus leaves at 10.20 from the Sheffield Interchange. Estimated return time to Sheffield is between 18.00-19.00
Location - Meet at the Sheffield Interchange to catch the 272 bus. The walk itself will be in and around Castleton
Money needed - Enough for the bus and whatever drinks or food you want to buy
Any other items - Appropriate footwear and clothing, food and drink
Firstly, there were plans to hold a national squad session this Sunday (the 19th) at the dojo. I can confirm that this has been cancelled so this walk is the only dojo event on Sunday.
The walk is about 3-4 hours long, is on both roads and natural surfaces and involves some hills. It may also be a bit muddy. Therefore please bring appropriate footwear to suit the conditions.
The main method of travel is by public transport (the 272 bus), so meet at the Sheffield Interchange by 10.10-10.15 if you are going. If you want to go via some other method, please try and let me know at some point so I don't forget anybody.
Please also bring enough food and drink for the day. Whilst you can buy food and drink at Castleton before or after the walk, opportunities to buy stuff during the walk will be minimal.
