Dear members and friends of the Sheffield Shodokan Aikido Club,
The club was founded in September 1991 by Scott, we are therefore wishing the club a happy 25th birthday! What better way to celebrate than to train and share food and drinks together?!
We are planning the anniversary for next week, MONDAY 19th SEPTEMBER.
We will be training from 5 to 7pm - note the change of time. Instead of our normal randori session, all members of the dojo will be welcome to train.
- If you have not trained aikido recently, this is the perfect opportunity for you to get back into it!
- Maybe 5pm is too early to get to? In this case, come for 6pm, don't miss the fun!
- Don't forget that Omori sensei is visiting from Tokyo and will be taking the session, so don't miss it!
Food, you said FOOD?! Yes we are having a Japanese hot meal, made by Sheffield-based Edo Sushi, at Burton Street Foundation, after training, around 7.30pm. We will also be able to access the bar for drinks (includes soft drinks and real ale). We will be based in the Burton building (the one closest to the road, not the gym; 57 Burton St, Sheffield S6 2HH).
All we need to know is how many meals to order otherwise we will all go hungry! So if you are coming to the meal, please answer the few questions in the google form below.
Please respond by this THURSDAY 15th SEPTEMBER 5pm.

See you on the mat very soon!
