I'd like to draw your attention to 2 upcoming socials:

Maveli Curry Social

Date: 20/10/2017

Time: Meet at the dojo 19.15, or meet at Maveli on West Street at 19.30.

Cost: (How much is a curry?)

After training this Friday, we will be going to Mavelis on West Street for a curry. Come if you want. For more info on this social, please contact Katrina (the events officer).

Halloween Bar Crawl 2017

Date:  28/10/2017

Time: Starts at 19.00 at the Sheffield Tap pub (at the train station)

Cost: (Depends, of course)

On Saturday 28/10/2017, the club's annual halloween bar crawl will start at 19.00 at the Sheffield Tap (at the Sheffield Train Station), gradually working it's way to West Street throughout the course of the evening. The final route details will be confirmed later. The best way to get to the Sheffield Tap is probably by tram (get on a blue or purple line tram to Sheffield Station), or get a bus to the Sheffield Interchange and walk the rest of the distance (it's only round the corner from the Interchange)

This year's theme is action heroes. We are thinking of the likes of Rambo, John Mclane, Ellen Ripley & the characters of a certain ponytailed aikidoka...For the record, 'superheroes' such as Superman, Captain America etc are NOT action heroes and an action hero is the fictional character the actor/actress portrays and not the actors/actresses themselves.

There may be a prize for the best costume, so it could pay to put in a strong effort.
