June 2018 Newsletter

Hi,

So first i would like to catch you all up on what has been going on before i part with future dates.

We had a very successful Aikido social bike ride in the peak district covering 20 miles in the process. There was beautiful sunshine, milkshakes and the infamous green dojo bus! We had a very sore dairy air the following day though.

The SAUK summer seminar and grading was a massive success with all aikidoka passing. So congratulations to the York members Emma and Vici and the Sheffield members. If you see them please congratulate them 😊 they have worked incredibly hard these past few months and their training paid off!

Maggie : 3rd Dan, 2 star
James Sharp: 2nd Dan, pass
Emma: 1st Dan, 1 star
Vici: 1st Dan, pass

I would also like to say a massive thank you to all of you who came to honour Phil Newcombe. He got a merry send off.
