Dear all,
 
we have just celebrated our dojo's 20th anniversary, and what a celebration it was! From the high octane seminar, through the sushi and sake, to the spa, pub, dancing etc. I can't remember last time I went to bed at 5am!!!
 
Of course, the new academic year has a lot more events in store for us! Here goes:
 
October
Sat-Sun 15-16/10 - London and Hove aikido Festival, Brighton, King Alfred sports centre. Contact Erik Dop (erikdop@gmail.com) for info and entry.
Sat 29/10 (11-3) - Sheffield EIS, SAUK Closed event - seminar, demo, ref course and kongo dantai sen competition. (£10 unwaged and students, £15 otherwise)
 
November
Sat 12/11 - Kyogikan Aikido Marathon 7am - 9pm. Challenge yourself to 14 hours of training in one day, wiuth 5mn break every hour. Beleieve me the mind goes before the body! Open to all, especially from beginner. £15 whole day or £5 an hour. This is our 5th aikimarathon!
Sat 26/11 - Edinburgh, SAUK Xmas seminar and dan grading. Open to all. Contact Martin Livingston for info.
 
December
Sat 3/12 - Shodohai £5 (2-5pm). Open to all, especially STUDENTS from Leeds, Nottingham, Sheffield, York and further afield.
