2012 is starting with some great aikido events!
Scott has been invited in London to run a January Weapons course to kick-start the training year on Saturday 21st January; he will also lead a shodohai and referee training on Sunday 22nd January.

.....and start saving now!. ~ the December 2012 Xmas Seminar is moving to warmer climes, Phil Newcombe will be hosting in Malaga.
In the meantime, here are a few closer dates:
Women beginner course - organised by Maggie - run over 4 sessions (Sunday 29/01, Tuesday 31/01, Sunday 5/02, Tuesday 7/02) - open to Universty students from Hallam and Sheffield unis. Pass on to all your uni friends!
Women advanced course - organised by Celine - start on Saturday 4/02 2-4.30pm.
This is for 4kyu and above and will help you to kickstart your training ahead of the student nationals 5 weeks later. Come with your trainers for a short run; atemi practice on the lads, randori drills, and stretching! Limited to 10 places for women from Sheffield, Leeds, Nottingham and York. Contact me asap to reserve a place. Price: £5pp if 10 all 10 places taken.
KANGEIKO 2012 - Sunday 12th to Saturday 18th February, culminating with our much loved international food party at Burton Street.
Student Nationals 2012 - hosted by Nottingham University - Sat 10-Sunday 11th March
National SQUAD - will resume from Saturday 28th January and is again on the last Saturday of each month at the same time of 11am-3pm. If you are interested in taking part, contact your instructor to get recommended into squad. You will need to meet the criteria (2kyu min for men, 3kyu for women; commitment to training hard at squad and outside squad, taking part in competition, fitness test). If you are one of the lucky few who has been invited already, well done and accept the invitation if you want to take part in the next work championships!
So put these dates in your diaries and contact us to book your place!
