Dear all,
First of all, all my congratulations to our new dan grades Clement, Gemma, Jeannette, Jon and Michael who all clearly passed their shodan at the student national competition in Edinburgh weekend before last! Congrats also to Heiss from Nottingham club, who with Michael achieved a distinction!

This Wednesday 16/4 8-9am, KENDO session £3.
Saturday 26th April (10-11.15am) First Junior club session!
For juniors 8-17 of age.
Caspar, Maggy, Mo, Chu, Jon and me will be leading the new sessions for juniors. We have decided to start at age 8. We have kept the prices very low (£10 per calendar month for Saturday morning sessions). We need to register new juniors in advance, so email me if you know juniors who are interested. If you want to help us develop our junior club and would like to pass on details and flyers to schools etc, let me know. Here is our website.
Saturday 26th April (3-7pm) North Region SAUK Squad session - open to 2nd kyu and above (women 3rd kyu and above) who are keen to take part in national / international competitions and want to take their training to the next level.
Nottingham univ. jubilee campus
Tuesday 29th April (6.30-8pm) Grading. Don't forget to let us have your grading book the week before!
Saturday 7th June, Kidbrooke (London), Shodokan National Open tournament.
Friday 13th to Monday 16th June Boot camp - location to be decided between Garrigill and Mickleton in Durham county; keep the dates free in your diary and book before !
4 days of intense aikido training / camping / barbecueing / running / waterfalls etc! Not for the faint hearted! £65 training, camping and mat fees included. Transport not included, so if you are coming and have a car, you will be very popular!
