Steel city Aikido related news

Dear all,

a quick reminder of our upcoming events:

Next weekend, Saturday 12th July, national seminar and dan grading. The national seminar will be hosted round the corner from Sheffield in lovely York. I encourage all members to attend, from beginners onwards. It will be good to train with aikidoka from around the country, as well as watching the dan grading. Our own Shinobu will go for his shodan, gambatte!

The following weekend, Saturday 19th July, will be our next edition of the Coach the Coaches session. in the morning, coaches will work on how to effectively teach kata to complete beginners, with emphasis on the randori no kata, which they will put in practice with beginners and kyu grades in the afternoon (2-5pm).
Coaches (2nd kyu and above) 11am-1.30pm; £10
Beginners and kyu grades (beginners and up to 1st kyu) (2-5pm); £5.

Also you can find below the latest edition of the BAB, our national governing body's newsletter. If you'd like to receive this directly, please contact the BAB media officer to be added to the mailing list.

See you on the mats soon!
