AGM Wednesday 13th May

Hello everybody,

A few points on the upcoming AGM on Wednesday 13 May:

  • I know I have said this a couple of times before, but if you haven't done so already, please can you let Chris (christ_c80@yahoo.com.hk) know if you are able to make it to the club AGM on the 13 May and whether or not you want to eat anything. Food will be the buffet and the menu is attached with this e-mail. Our deadline for food booking is this Wednesday (6th)
  • The meeting agenda is as follows:
1. Apologies
2. Action summaries of 2014 AGM
3. Dojo activities, competitions and events (2014-2015) hightlights
4. Financial report
5. Website
6. Matters arising
7. Election of officers
  • Finally I would personally like to say a few things about the officer elections, namely please consider taking up a position if at all possible! There is always more work that can be done to improve the club and dojo and extra helping hands are always gratefully received. As none of us do aikido full-time, there are of course times where it is going to be difficult to fulfill duties, but almost all roles are time-flexible and role work can be delegated to someone else if you are experiencing a period of difficulty. And do not be put off if you think that the committee is just for the "black-belts" and whoever else might be in a dojo inner-circle; If you want a particular role, you are more-likely-than-not to get it regardless of experience or grade

Sorry to bore you all! Any questions or queries, let us know
James
