Following on from last night's club committee meeting, I have some upcoming events for you all:
Regional Squad:
Date - Saturday 27th June
Time - 2.00-6.00
Location - Nottingham
Regional squad this week will be in Nottingham. At the time of writing I've just received word Mo has got a hall booking confirmation for 2-6.
SAUK National Seminar & Grading:
Date - Saturday 4th July
Time - 10.00-3.00
Location - Kidbrooke, London
The first of the 2 SAUK national seminar and grading events in 2015. Please note that it is a current SAUK policy that any non-student seriously considering a dan grading should turn up to the directly previous national seminar and grading event for a pre-examination. In other words, if you are thinking of grading this Christmas, you should be at this event
Master Ken's Enter The Dojo Live Seminar:
Date - Sunday 16th August
Time - 2.30-onwards
Location - Corporation Nightclub, Sheffield
You might possibly have seen or heard some event info about this from me already. Anyway, I'm trying to organise a club social to see Master Ken Live on Sunday 16th August. If you haven't heard of him before, Master Ken is a popular internet comedian who created a show around the world of dodgy martial arts and their schools. To see some of his shows, here is a link to his youtube channel:

There are 2 options for this show - be a participant or just spectate. Being a participant is £30 and being a spectator is £10. It seems the vast majority of people want to just spectate, so I will be organising a group booking of spectators only. If the group booking has more than 10 people, we get a discount of 10% meaning tickets could be only £9.
Anyone who wants to go to this, please give me £10 by Friday 24th July as I will be making the booking the next day. As with any event, there is a risk of tickets selling out so I want this sorted a few weeks before the show. If more than 10 people are going, I'll give you back £1.
