There are 2 important dojo events going on this weekend
Shodohai
There is a shodohai at the dojo this Saturday (31st) from 1.30. A shodohai is essentially friendly competition practice and is suitable for all levels.
Halloween Pub Crawl
First of all, apologies for the slight delay in releasing details for this event. Unexpected complications arose in the last week....
Moving on...the Sheffield city/town club pub crawl will start at the New Barrack Tavern at 7.00pm on Saturday and gradually head towards West Street over the evening. If using public transport, the easiest way there is via tram and get off at either Bamforth Street or Langsett/Primrose View. There is no overall costume theme this year although there will be a fantastic prize for the best one and a not-so-fantastic one for the worst. The university students at the dojo are finishing off the night at the Plug nightclub in the city centre and Julia (uni club) has some tickets if anyone wants to join them for that when the crawl finishes (they're £8 a ticket). Of course, all are welcome to one or both parts.
Please note that prior to Plug, the University of Sheffield club are going on a separate pub crawl to us with other university martial arts clubs and that will be starting in Broomhill. Please do not get the two events confused!
