Long-standing club member Ed will soon be permanently leaving Sheffield following the completion of his PHD and will be holding his leaving party this Wednesday. Of course, all club members would be more than welcome to come along. Here are the details (taken from his facebook post on the event):
"As you may know, my time in Sheffield is coming to a close as I leave for work in the South, following the completion of my thesis.
My leaving celebration is Wednesday 14th October (including training, from 17:00). Directly after training we migrate towards the Saffron restaurant on London road, and after that to the Old Crown Inn on London road, where I hope to bash out a few tunes at a Blues event there. I've been told personally by the pub that the event is on, so this should be a fun night.
Importantly, we should arrive at the Old Crown Inn at around 21:00!
All in the club are invited. I hope to see you on Wednesday"
