UPCOMING TRIPS

Garrigil Student boot camp - Fri 19-Mon 22 June
As it says on the tin, it's a boot camp. That means hard work and...hard play. So if the idea of running up and down the beautiful Cumbrian hills, chucking yourself under waterfalls, throwing yourself and other people on mats for 4 days appeals to you, get in touch! It's cheaper if you pay before 31/05.

Weapons in Poland - Wed 8- Wed 15 Sep
If you've been with us a couple of years, you'll know that we take to the hills / beaches / crags in late August. Well, we've wanted to extend our horizons! This year, we're heading off to a small village called Godziszewo, near Gdansk. Polish hospitality on a fruit farm next to a lake surrounded by forests, with great local food; as a bonus, flights to Gdansk are cheap. A cheap exotic holiday, enough said! More info, please email Maggy.

UPCOMING SEMINARS

National seminar number 2 - Sunday 4 July (1-5pm), EIS, Sheffield
We're hosting the second national seminar, which Scott will be leading. It's on our doorstep, so no excuses not to enjoy 4 hours of training in a great setting!

National seminar number 3 - Sat + Sun 4-5 Sep, York Railway Institute
This is what we know and love as the "Closed Event" seminar, refereeing course, friendly team competition. Still round the corner, a mere 2minutes walk from the train station. Uni captains, please get a students team together! I bet Hallam will hire female aikidoka ;-)

London and Hove Festival - Sat-Sun 8-9 Oct
This is a new event hosted in Brighton (well, Hove actually), with seminar and friendly competition. Very much like the closed event. Brighton's pretty and there are some backpackers so we can stay cheap. Instructors are Phil and Scott. Let's get a team together!

National seminar number 4 - EIS Sheffield Dec
The national Xmas seminar is back in Sheffield! Ideas on where to host the after training party welcome! I'm thinking brewery, anyone, any contacts?
